Inhalation Allergies

Many people suffer from inhalation allergies but don’t always seek help from their general practitioner. Examples include allergies caused by pollen (also known as hay fever), cats, and dogs. By combining a digital consultation with an allergy test, we can quickly determine if, and to what, you are allergic.

In the Netherlands, 1 in 4 people suffers from an inhalation allergy.

With an inhalation allergy, the body reacts allergically to substances that are inhaled. Examples of inhalation allergies include hay fever and house dust mite allergy. Allergies to cats and dogs also fall into this category.

Unfortunately, many people are unaware of exactly what they are allergic to. In many cases, the cause can be quickly identified with an allergy test. However, many general practices do not offer this service, and hospitals often have very long waiting times.

How does it work?

1. We verify your identity using iDIN.
2. You will receive an email from us requesting additional information.
3. Next, you gain access to our online portal, where you can schedule an intake appointment.
4. During the online intake, you will discuss your symptoms with the healthcare provider.
5. The results of the allergy test are discussed during an online consultation. Afterward, a targeted treatment can be initiated if necessary.

How does OneTwoDigital work?

OneTwoDigital is an online general practice. This means you can only contact us online. You cannot register as a patient with OneTwoDigital. You remain registered with your own general practitioner.

What are the costs?

Since OneTwoDigital is a digital general practice, the consultations are covered under general practitioner care. Therefore, the consultations and tests are reimbursed by your health insurance. Only blood tests and STI diagnostics fall under your deductible. In some cases, you may also need to pay (partially) for medication yourself. Your health insurance provider can give you more information about this.

How does OneTwoDigital verify my identity?

We do this using iDIN. With iDIN, we verify your identity details through your bank. This process is quick and easy using your bank’s app. There are no costs associated with this.
